You can use a small food processor or food blender. If you would rather not, this still mixes nicely with a spoon or fork. It just takes a lot longer. Also, if you warm up the solid ingredients for about 10 seconds in the microwave, it may mix easier. This mix is one of my favorites to use on my hair for sealing in moisture, it also yields amazing twist outs!
