Madison Hts MI Weekend Event – Nature Fit – Winter Survival
Red Oaks Nature Center (30300 Hales Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071)
Don’t let winter slow you down! Indoors we will learn about how animals and plants cope with the cold, and then head outdoors to practice some winter survival skills including reading animal tracks, fire-building, shelter construction, and more. Appropriate for ages 8 and older. Participants must wear boots. $4/person. Call to register.
