It is with much sadness and concern that I post this very serious notice of the tragic suicide death of the co-founder of Miss Jessie's hair products, Ti Ti Branch.
In the last few years we have been made blatantly aware of mental illness in our community through the many celebrities who have committed suicide recently. Though they are not publicized, many non-celebrities have also struggled and lost the battle with mental illness to suicide. Please know that mental illness is real, a real chemical imbalance in the brain and most can be medicated by western medicine and natural herbs. Do not be afraid to ask for help and do not be so ashamed of what you are going through that you go through it alone.
